KP Burke is many things. He’s a stand-up comedian, a Navy Veteran, an American History junkie and an author. Burke began comedy while stationed in Jacksonville, Florida before moving back home to new jersey and performing UP AND DOWN THE EAST COAST. The “Roastmasters” competitions at “The Stand” in NYC (YouTube KP Burke Roasts for more details) led to Burke’s growing reputation as a talented joke writer and afforded him several opportunities to grow such as working with legendary comics like Robert Kelly, Nick DiPaolo, Rich Vos and Colin Quinn. These events all led to the creation of “American Loser”, the podcast Burke created with his father. Burke’s first comedy special “Escape from Jacksonville” was released in 2022, featuring several viral clips and solidifying his reputation as one of New Jersey’s most talented comics. His second album “The Last Recital” released December 2024. Burke’s history reels on Instagram have also taken off which led him to publishing his first book “History Isn’t Boring, Your Teacher Was”, which became an amazon best selling book after its November 2024 release.
